Presentation Guidelines

The duration of a presentation slot is 20 minutes. You will have 17 minutes for the presentation itself and 3 minutes for questions from the audience.

An LCD projector and a computer (Windows 10, MS Powerpoint Viewer, Adobe Reader, K-lite Codec Pack) will be available in every session room for regular presentations.

If you would like to use your own computer please be 5 minutes earlier (during the break) to test if it works correctly with the projector. Standard HDMI cables (and D-SUB cables on special request) for connection are available.

Please use only USB memory stick for uploading your presentations. No CD/DVD drive is available. Files can be uploaded to the local PCs in the lecture rooms during the breaks between the sessions. To avoid software compatibility problems, speakers are advised to save their presentations as PDF files.

Speakers should arrive in their session room 5 minutes BEFORE the start of their session to report to the chair person. Technical assistance is available if necessary.

Poster Presentations (physical, on-site)

There will be a large number of posters presented during the conference. In order to make these sessions run smoothly, some cooperation from you, as a poster exhibitor, is necessary. It is essential that your poster is put up within the first 5 minutes of the session and removed after it has ended.

The size of the poster panel that is available to each presenter is

100 cm x 120 cm (width x height) (suggested format is A0)

The format of the poster panel is portrait. You are free to choose a single poster (or many smaller posters) that fit on the given panel size.

Your posters will be attached to the panel with transparent and/or double-sided tape, which will be available on the panel.
